Music With Heart
Rock 4 Tots toy drive was co-founded by Margie Anders and Jimmy Klapp to bring the local music industry together to ensure no local child goes without a Christmas gift. Jimmy Klapp originally hosted the charity toy drive at his former bar, The Dawghouse on Groesbeck Highway. Over the years, the event moved across a few local venues—including Ray’z in Clinton Township and Pub 1281—before establishing its long-term home at Freddy’s Bar & Grill.
“Screamin” Scott Randall and “Loco” Joe Evangelista serve as the main organizers, promoters, and event emcees (MCs) for Rock 4 Tots, working alongside the co-founders to coordinate the massive two-day production. Tina Kupiszewski Sulisz rounds out the Rock 4 Tots Committee. Todd Malkiewicz and Cynthis Kopacki head up the raffle table and 50 50’s along with dozens of volunteers who work tirelessly to make the event go smoothly.
What makes the event special is its spirit. It is upbeat, welcoming, and family-friendly, with every performance helping create awareness, support, and hope. From the first note to the final encore, the focus stays on making a positive difference for kids.
